Dr Maz Danesh
Pain Management Specialist

Dr Danesh is a Pain Management Specialist who prides himself in adopting a holistic, contemporary, interdisciplinary and patient-centered approach to chronic pain, integrating patient education, functional
restoration and intervention and neuromodulation in his day to day practice. He has had the privilege to train and practice with world-class experts in the field of Interventional Pain Medicine nationally and
internationally.

Dr Danesh, holds specialist qualifications in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia and is a fellow of both Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and Faculty of Pain Medicine of Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists along with membership with International Neuromodulation Society.

He has trained and practiced at some of the most prestigious academic centers around Australia, including Gold Coast Hospital (QLD), Queen Elizabeth Hospital (SA), Women’s & Children’s Hospital (SA), Royal Adelaide Hospital (SA), Royal Children’s Hospital (VIC), Royal Brisbane Hospital (QLD). He has been practicing in both private & public hospitals & clinics for the past two decades. He speaks 3 languages;
English, Farsi and Azerbaijani and completed his Medical degree in 2003.
Respect, empathy and compassion combined with a scientific approach to achieve the reduction of pain and suffering combined with achieving functional restoration are the most prominent drivers behind his current practice.

Dr Seema Channappagoudar
Geriatrician

Dr Seema Channappagoudar is a Geriatrician who completed her Specialist training in Sydney at St George Hospital, The Sutherland Hospital, and Liverpool Hospital.

She has extensive experience in Geriatrics and General medicine. Dr Channappagoudar currently works at the two major public hospitals in South East Sydney, The Sutherland hospital as a Staff Specialist Geriatrics and General medicine and a Visiting Medical Officer at St George Hospital. Dr Channappagoudar is associated with the clinical school as a UNSW Conjoint Lecturer and has admitting rights to St George private hospital, Hurstville private hospital and Waratah private hospital.

Dr Channappagoudar believes in achieving patient centred goals by involving patients, their families and care givers. She has a special interest in cognitive assessment, management of behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia, peri operative medicine, frailty, falls and bone health.

Dr Channappagoudar strongly believes in continuity of care and holistic approach, she is available to do home visits, telehealth and nursing home visits if required. Dr Channappagoudar speaks 4 languages: English, Hindi, Kannada and Marathi.

A Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and also a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Geriatric medicine.

Dr Matthew Masterson

Matthew received his medical degree from Adelaide University in 2010 receiving the Paediatric Surgery prize and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014. Throughout his training Matthew gained extensive surgical skills across a wide range of surgical specialties. He is a highly experienced and trusted vasectomy surgeon performing over 1000 vasectomies a year across NSW. Matthew is committed to ensuring that each vasectomy he performs is as painless and simple as possible. Matthew is a keen sportsman with particular interests in soccer and body boarding.
