James MacCann​
Physiotherapist

I graduated from Sydney University in 2011 with a Masters Degree in physiotherapy, after initially completing a masters in exercise and sports science majoring in sports performance. Since then, I have worked in variety of private practice settings across Sydney, most recently in the Liverpool area.

I have completed postgraduate qualifications in dry needling, k-taping, casting and sports physiotherapy, and have conducted numerous occupational health programs, most notably with TOLL, Dnata and Prysmian Cables.

I am a lifelong basketball fanatic and continue to represent the mighty Sutherland Sharks. I also enjoy spending time with my wife and our 3 young children.

Mitch Holdsworth​
Physiotherapist

Mitch completed his Masters of Physiotherapy at University of Sydney in 2016. 

Since then, he has been practicing around Sydney, helping his patients recover from their musculoskeletal conditions. He has a strong interest in sports rehabilitation, previously working with the NRL and international cricket teams. Mitch also works within the occupational sector providing workplace training, injury prevention programming and treating injured workers. 

When we asked Mitch why he loves being a physiotherapist he said, ‘I just want to assist people to get the best out of themselves, and to be able to do all the things they like without having to deal with the pain or burden of their injuries!’

John Abd-Mariam​
Physiotherapist

John  (Ozjam Pysio)  BSC (Hons) MAPA is a highly skilled Physiotherapist & Sports Specialist with over 20 years’ experience both in Australia & the UK. During this time, he has been responsible for hospital Physiotherapy Teams, Emergency Departments, Stroke Units, Rehabilitation Units and Geriatric Wards.

He has completed Post Graduate Masters modules in Orthopaedic Medicine and Elderly Rehabilitation. John’s experience covers a broad range of Physiotherapy, with a particular focus in the treatment of headaches, neck/jaw/back and shoulder pain, chest physiotherapy, balance & falls prevention strategies.

John holds two black belts in different martial arts.  He also enjoys chess, which he has competed in at an international level.

Anwar Almutawah​
Physiotherapist

Anwar graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Newcastle. Helping people to achieve optimum recovery and improve their physical function is her main career goal. Anwar has a strong interest in treating people with musculoskeletal injuries and a compassionate approach to improving function in those with chronic pain. Anwar uses an evidence-based approach with her treatment and is always on the lookout for new ways to better manage and prevent injuries.

Outside of work, Anwar enjoys spending her time volunteering with community centres, staying physically active and spending her time with her husband and son.

Dr Hassan Kafagi​
Podiatrist

Dr Hasan Kafagi successfully graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelors degree in Health Science and a Masters Degree in Podiatric Medicine.

He is a passionate practitioner specialising in all aspects of lower limb biomechanics in both adults and paediatrics patients. He is highly qualified and committed to assisting patients in achieving the best possible health outcomes in terms of improved lower limb biomechanics, improved balance and posture aiding to enhance their physical mobility as well as the quality of life. 

Sonya Cheung​
Clinical Dietitian

I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian who is passionate about empowering others to make sustainable lifestyle changes. I endeavour to provide personalised interventions according to clients’ cultural background, preferences and needs as I understand there is no one-size-fits-all solution.
I aspire to be a compassionate and supportive dietitian, utilising my knowledge and experiences to help and guide my clients making positive changes to their diet and develop positive relationship with food.

Dr Rosanna Francis
Clinical Psychologist

Dr Rosanna Francis is a Clinical Psychologist who believes in the inner strength of the individual. She works with that strength to help each client recognise & build up their resilience to live a more comfortable, meaningful, realistically fuller life.

Rosanna completed her Doctor of Clinical Psychology and her PhD at the University of Sydney. She has worked as a psychologist for over 20 years, using evidence-based treatments to treat a diverse range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, stress, complex PTSD and relationship issues across the lifespan. She has used her clinical research to develop & refine her own clinical art form in practice.

Rosanna has a special interest and experience in treating generalised anxiety, particularly in individuals who, although high functioning, struggle with severe anxiety that is often accompanied by comorbid disorders, and leads to burn out at work, study, and in their everyday life.

Rosanna is warm and empathetic. She provides a treatment experience that helps individuals take charge of their life by understanding their struggles within a holistic framework, tapping into their own strengths and learning new skills and strategies to help them move forward.

Alexandra Clark
Clinical Psychologist

I have over 12 years of experience working in various mental health services in the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) including CAMHS, Adult and Older Adult Mental Health Services.  

I am a gentle, warm and nurturing clinical psychologist. I believe in working holistically to understand a person’s past experiences and how it may influence today’s difficulties. 

Whilst I work with a wide range of psychological difficulties, my special interests are:

  • Emotional regulation difficulties
  • Interpersonal and relationship problems
  • Developmental trauma and complex trauma
  • Attachment difficulties 
  • Anxiety
  • Depression 

I am experienced in working in a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), cognitive analytical therapy (CAT), systemic ways of working, parenting approaches and mindfulness.
