New patients to the practice require a long appointment. Please note that if you have not attended the practice in over 2 years, you will be considered a new patient and will require a long appointment.
Cancellation Policy: Appointment times are limited at SDD. If you need to cancel or postpone your appointment, we respectfully request as much notice as possible as this allows enough time to offer the appointment to another patient on our waiting list.
- Patients who fail to attend or give less than 3 hours’ notice to cancel their GP appointment, will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
- Patients who fail to attend or give less than 24 hours’ notice to cancel their Specialist appointment, will incur a $100 cancellation fee.
- Patients who fail to attend or give less than 24 hours’ notice to cancel their Psychologist appointment, will incur a $100 cancellation fee.
- Patients who fail to attend or give less than 24 hours’ notice to cancel their Allied Health appointment (excluding Psychology), will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
Payments by credit or debit card will incur a surcharge, for both Telehealth phone consultations via our online merchant facility, and for in-person appointments via our EFTPOS facility. The surcharge amount will vary depending on the type of card and whether it is a credit or debit card.
