Dr Fatemeh Heidarygorji
Principal Dentist
I graduated with DDS in 2004 in Iran (Persia). I successfully completed the NSW International Dental Graduates exams in 2008 and I was given the opportunity to attend a highly regarded training program at the University of Sydney. I worked in a variety of public and private practices in Iran and Australia such as Westmead Dental Hospital and Sydney Dental Hospital. I am registered with the National Dental Board of Australia, and I am also a member of the Australian Dental Association.
My special interest is treating anxious patients who suffer from dental phobia.
When I am not busy creating beautiful smiles, I enjoy exercising, traveling, and spending time with my husband and our fourteen-year-old son.
Dr John Dawoud
I graduated from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2019. Since then, I have worked in private practices in Sydney under industry-leading mentors. During these years I have gained experience in all aspects of dentistry and have taken a keen interest in restorative dentistry including veneers, crowns, and bridges. I am also interested in oral surgery including the placement and restoration of dental implants. I have a passion for dentistry and helping patients achieve their dental goals and improve their oral health. Outside of work I enjoy soccer, travelling with my wife, and I am an avid car enthusiast.
OHT Diana Shenouda
I have been in the dental field for over 15 years. I graduated in 2013 from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Oral Health as an Oral Health Therapist, making me dual-qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist. I have worked in renowned general and specialist dental practices across Sydney, treating both adults and children. I have gained experience in the fields of Periodontics, Orthodontics, Paediatric, Restorative, and Preventative Dentistry.
The breadth of my experience has deepened my insight into both patient and clinical management. I regularly participate in a variety of continuing education programs and training to ensure I stay current with advances in dental technology to continually provide my patients with the highest standard of clinical care.
I strive to make all of my patients comfortable and feeling at ease, including those who are anxious about dental treatment. My patients leave having felt cared for, informed, and empowered. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active by doing Pilates, going to the gym, and spending time out in nature by hiking and going to the beach.
Dr Simon Briggs
I graduated with my BDS (Syd) in 1997 worked in the maxillo-facial department of three prominent hospitals in London and Wales. I returned to Sydney with my Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons (FDS RCS) London, and began teaching and working at Westmead Hospital, Sydney. I obtained my Diploma of Clinical Dentistry in Intravenous Sedation and Pain Control in 2000 and began servicing several practices in the Sydney area with dental surgery, IV Sedation, dental implant procedures, and bone regenerative procedures. Today, I have become a mentor in implant techniques for several colleagues and practices, placing well over 350 implants per year. As well, I am highly trained in Dento-Facial Aesthetics and provide patients with various options of treatments including relaxant injections, dermal fillers, and aesthetic therapies. I am a member of the Australasian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics and the Australian Dental Association.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and four children, collecting wine, and playing soccer and tennis.
