Straighten Your Teeth with Fast Braces
Fast braces are a type of fast and discreet orthodontic treatment that corrects the alignment of the six front teeth (also known as the social six). Having well-aligned teeth improves not only your appearance but can also improve oral health and function. If you are only looking for a minor cosmetic improvement, this treatment may take between 6 to 9 months to complete. Fast braces are a great fixed and fast-tracked alternative to clear aligners such as Invisalign for straightening crooked front teeth. In this method, clear brackets and white coated wires are far less noticeable than conventional braces.
At Shire Doctors and Dentists, we use this simple, gentle, and minimally invasive method to improve smiles for adult patients. Teeth alignment using orthodontic movements can be safely and predictably undertaken at any stage of life—it is not just for children and teenagers.
Any age is a great age to straighten your smile! Dr Fatemeh will complete a full dental examination, including x-rays, photos, and impressions of your teeth. Knowing your end goal, she can present you with a few appropriate options and a preview of the outcome before commencing treatment.
What are fast braces?
Fast Braces are a simple, gentle, minimally invasive cosmetic treatment that corrects misaligned front teeth, and can straighten the edges of your teeth. It is a fast, effective, and affordable treatment when adults are seeking to correct their smiles and takes less time than conventional orthodontics because it focuses on the front teeth that most influence the smile. Fast Braces often eliminate the need for more invasive treatment options for smile make-overs such as porcelain veneers.
How do fast braces work?
Fixed braces are a proven and reliable treatment offering the finest degree of controlling teeth movement. We use thin, tooth coloured orthodontic wire clips into tooth coloured brackets, which are placed onto your teeth, gently moving your front teeth back into alignment. The braces are almost invisible. You will have straight front teeth in as little as 6 months.
What happens after my treatment is completed?
Right before Dr Fatemeh removes your braces you will have a permanent retainer cemented onto the inner side of your teeth. Then your braces will be removed, and a removable retainer will be made for you to wear during the night. Your removable retainer is to make sure your teeth do not move back into their original position.
