After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Canada, I went on to earn a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of New South Wales, where my research focused on the development of a “Bionic Eye”. I later completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Sydney.
My medical training included internship and residency at St George Hospital and The Sutherland Hospital before joining the Specialist GP training program. I obtained my Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in May 2023.
I enjoy all aspects of family medicine and have a particular interest in paediatrics, acute orthopaedic and sports injuries, and minor procedures. I value building long-term relationships with patients and providing comprehensive, compassionate care for individuals and families.

I graduated from the University of Alexandria, Egypt in 1986 with MBBS and have been practicing in Australia since 2013. I am a Fellow of the Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and I have also completed a Diploma in Child Health.
My areas of interest include skin cancer checks and management, sexual and reproductive health, children’s health and sports medicine.
